Lactate buffering

Energy supply

We have optimised our Performance Formula with a Duo Carb Matrix: This provides energy directly and with a delay in order to perform longer and more consistently. And thanks to the combination of Duo Carb Matrix and caffeine, the body can protect its glycogen stores for longer and utilises energy from fat earlier. This supports endurance performance.

Maltodextrin (13.3g) and dextrose (6.7g) are beneficial for endurance training, especially when combined in this ratio. Electrolyte blend (sodium 100mg, potassium 50mg, calcium 20mg, magnesium 10mg)

Electrolytes such as sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium play a crucial role in endurance training. They help to maintain fluid balance, support nerve function and regulate muscle contractions, which is essential for preventing cramps and maintaining performance during prolonged exercise. Adequate electrolyte balance during endurance exercise is necessary to maintain fluid balance, prevent fatigue and ensure optimal physiological function, especially during prolonged or high-intensity exercise.

Vitamin mix (B1 8mg, niacin 15mg, B6 6mg, B12 22mg)

Vitamins B1 (thiamine), B3 (niacin), B6 (pyridoxine) and B12 (cobalamin) are essential for endurance training due to their crucial role in energy metabolism. B1 helps convert nutrients into energy, B3 increases energy production and improves blood flow, B6 is involved in amino acid metabolism and red blood cell production, and B12 is essential for nerve function and the formation of red blood cells that transport oxygen to the muscles. Together, these B vitamins help maintain optimal energy levels, reduce fatigue and support muscle repair and recovery, which is essential for prolonged and intense endurance activities.

FAQ Perfect Pre

How should Perfect Pre be taken?

For maximum effect, we recommend you mix one portion of 36 g powder (2 level measuring spoons, inside) with 400 ml water in a shaker and consume 40 minutes before your workout.

Note: Do not exceed the specified daily intake.

Who is Perfect Pre suitable for?

ESN Perfect Pre is mainly aimed at athletes who take part in endurance sports. These athletes range from beginners to advanced/professional athletes, i.e. athletes who actively participate in endurance sports several times a week, who can benefit from our ESN Perfect Pre. There is no reason to separate this product by gender. Perfect Pre can be used by both men and women.

Our Perfect Pre is an innovative performance formula made from dual carb matrix, plant extracts, amino matrix, electrolyte complex and caffeine. We recommend taking it 30-40 minutes before your training session.

Who should not take Perfect Pre?

Not suitable for minors, pregnant women, nursing mothers, people with high blood pressure or cardiovascular disease. Consult your doctor if you are taking medication. Stop taking if there are signs of restlessness or nervousness. You should not consume more than 400 mg of caffeine per day from any food source.

Can I also use Perfect Pre as a strength athlete?

What is different about the Endurance Line products compared to the remaining ESN assortment?

Our current product range focuses heavily on proteins, which are essential for muscle growth and supplements that increase strength. For endurance athletes, however, muscle growth is not the main focus. Instead, many endurance athletes aim to increase their maximum oxygen uptake, improve their lactic buffering, increase hydration and optimize carb loading in order to have optimally filled glycogen stores for peak performance.

Do I have to take all the products of the ESN Endurance Line?

No. Each product stands on its own with its benefits and advantages and can be taken independently of the others. To get the most out of your performance, we recommend that you take all three products (Perfect Base, Perfect Pre, Perfect Rec). If you only want to start with one product, we recommend the Perfect Base.
