Can my child consume Flavor Powder, Syrup and Co.?
You seem to care about your own health, as you obviously use Flavor Powder, Syrup and/or Protein Pudding and Co. to eat a sugar-reduced and high-protein diet.
Now you may be asking yourself the following questions:
- Can my children snack on my ESN products?
- Do I have to watch out for anything here?
- Are there any restrictions?
- Or can I perhaps even make my children's diet lower in sugar?
The same principle applies to children as to you: too much sugar is not healthy! So, from the time when you would give your offspring a yoghurt containing sugar, you can give them the reduced-sugar version: natural yoghurt with flavour powder. You should use relatively significantly less for your child than for yourself – this is very important for children's taste preferences. But feel free to experiment together.
Important: Food supplements are only ever a supplement to a balanced and healthy diet, as well as a healthy lifestyle.
The comparison: children's classic favourite soft drinks vs. water with syrup
To illustrate the topic a little, we will now draw a comparison between our syrup and children's classic favourites. Unfortunately, the typical drinks that a child likes to consume include: lemonades, iced tea, fruit juices and spritzers.
We are happy to show you a few examples of how much industrial sugar is in each of the drinks mentioned. As an example, we take a classic portion size - 500ml:
Lemonade: 39g per 500ml Iced tea: 23g per 500ml Apple spritzer: 30g per 500ml
How much sugar does my child save?
For children aged 4 to 6 years, the WHO recommends a maximum of approx. 35 grams of free sugar per day and for children aged 7 to 10 years, a maximum of approx. 42 grams. This means that just one large glass of lemonade is enough to exceed the limit for younger children, or almost reach it for older children.
So, with the syrups alone, your child saves all that unnecessary sugar consumption with the drinks, because the syrups contain 0g of sugar!
And that's just with the syrup example. Of course, you can save even more sugar with the flavour powder.
Can my child try my protein shake or protein pudding?
You can let your child try your protein shake or protein pudding without hesitation; there are no restrictions based on age, because your child also eats chicken, cheese, etc., i.e. foods with a high protein content.
Can my child take capsule products such as Curcumin Liquid etc.?
The study situation regarding the intake of minors is very limited, which is why no clear statement can be made. To the best of our knowledge, there are no negative study results that focus on low age groups. In case of taking such products, a doctor should definitely be consulted.
